Summary/Abstract: In theoretic frameworks epistemic evaluation is defined as an act including expression of attitude towards the validity of proposition. The epistemic scale reflects the gradient character of epistemic operators and can be specified as full certainty – high probability – medium probability – low probability – uncertainty. The evaluation process is based on evidential basis, which serves as source for speaker´s attitude towards the validity of proposition degree. The corpus data prove that epistemic modality and evidenciality cannot be viewed as separated and unrelated categories. it can be manifested by the corpus research of the collocation setting of epistemic operators and the role of evidential operators participating on expressing the relations of epistemic modality.
