Summary/Abstract: The concept of terrorism has been examined and researched a lot in the worldwide since 9/11 attacks and studies on this topic mastered, in which there were created a lot of definitions of it. The unexpected changes and transformations in the world political system effected how to redefine and understand the terminology terrorism. The correlations between terrorism and international system is not unilateral, which are the main sources of occuring for tendencies and events. The aim of this article is to show the redefinition of the different concepts of terrorism and to explore the mutual effects of this phenomenon regarding the events in international politics. In the first chapter of this article, which is consisted of three chapters, terorism and international system are analysed within the historical context. In the second chapter the mutual effectiveness between both terms explained with the help of definite examples. In the third chapter of this research work it will discussed the changed terrorism and international system perception after the 9/11 attacks.
