Summary/Abstract: An important area of social policy is the regional population policy. The purpose of this paper is to present determinants of the regional population policy in the light of the results of the study entitled “Social Diagnosis of West Pomeranian Voivodeship”, which was carried out at the request of the local authorities in the region. The article introduces the essence and selected determinants of regional population policy. It presents the social diagnosis of West Pomeranian Voivodeship as an instrument for the regional population policy-making. It also presents the conclusions of voivodeship social diagnosis for the regional population policy, including family policy and labour market policy.
