Summary/Abstract: The morpho-functional endowment of the central nervous system is identical and stable in any nondenatured human being, within the limits of physiology and psychology, amplified, of course, by the passing of years. Poets and artists, however, can reach a peculiar sensitivity and finesse, especially during this apogee of their creation, and in old age, organic (cardio-vascular, neuropsychological, endocrinal, osteoarticular etc.) dysfunctions do not influence the power of creation in an unfavourable manner. At the same time, nevertheless, the critical sense of one’s own activity does not decrease, but on the contrary, it can grow with the age.
