Summary/Abstract: Teatrul este emoţie… Cum pot fi emoţiile transpuse în act artistic teatral ? Cu unitate de viziune, de stilistică artististică, de interpretare actoricească ? Theatre is emotion ... How can emotions be transformed into a theatrical artistic act? With unity of vision, of artistic stylistics, of dramatic performance? Can we talk of educating the actor's emotional intelligence? Emotional intelligence redefines the image on the world and the human being. How can an actor, without specially cultivating his interpersonal intelligence, his intrapersonal intelligence, his kinesthetic intelligence, even conceive performing such roles as Hamlet, Richard III, Oberon, Othello or King Lear? How can the actor develop his emotional discipline to such an extent that he can eliminate his own negative emotions during his act in order to reveal only the emotions of his character (in 80% of the cases, we are dealing with negative emotions of the characters, because they are the dominating ones in theatre)? In other words, if the actor is angry and the character is scared – the difference between the two feelings being obviously big – how can the actor train in order to embody only the feelings of the character? Because it is essential that the actor maintains a dominant positive emotion on stage.
