Employment of the Polish women of south-west provinces of Russian empire in the public production in the end of XIX — the beginning of XX century

Summary/Abstract: In the article the participation of the Polish women of south-west provinces of Russian empire in the public production is characterized. Using the materials of statistic data and narratives we analyzed the application of woman's labour in various areas of economy; comparison with other ethnic group was carried out; the factors that influence on the peculiarities of woman's and man's employment were defined.
