Diagnosis of unemployment of people with disabilities in the Jelenia Góra Poviat

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this elaboration is an attempt to evaluate the characteristics of unemployment among people with disabilities in the Jelenia Góra poviat. This article presents a legal instrument for the protection of people with disabilities, enforced by the laws of the European Union and Poland as well. The problem of unemployment among people with disabilities in the Jelenia Góra poviat is shown here. A particularly careful analysis was done on the operations of the Labor Office in the city of Jelenia Gora and the role of nongovernmental organizations. The rejection of people with disabilities by the “healthy” part of the population creates a serious problem.
