Summary/Abstract: This study explores some aspects of Romanian Christian spirituality in the dynamics of the Gospel inculturation in our culture. The faith in God is ontologically rooted in the very being of the people and is expressed in actual life, especially in the great Christian festivals: Christmas and Easter. God and His Saints, the sense of communion with the holy order, are very familiar to the religious people who experience this relationship in Liturgy, prayer, folk songs and art. The Gospel served as the Law of the country in the Romanian culture until the modern era, the Church acting as the spiritual mother while the Romanian people asserted its Christian identity in the sense of the early Church.
