Influence of central banks policies on investments since the financial crisis

Summary/Abstract: Since the financial crisis of 2008 central banks in western countries have systematically increased the scope of intervention in the economy. The current model of monetary policy makes investment decisions more dependent on political factors rather than market appraisement. If the model is widened further it can lead to a quasi-socialist economic system.
