Development of transnational corporations on the example of Amazon

Summary/Abstract: Transnational corporations are one of the key players in the global economy. They developed rapidly in the second half of the XXth century. The main reason was the development of new technologies. It led to the appearance of a new type of transnational corporations called virtual corporations. Amazon.com is a perfect example of such a corporation. Thanks to new technologies, within just a few years it became a large global transnational corporation.
