Summary/Abstract: The 19th century Serbian rulers wifes life and work, including the Princess Ljubica, wife of Prince Miloš Obrenović, was poorly studied in the national historiography. Obrenović dynasty archive was destroyed after the 1903rd year and scattered in various archives in the country and abroad as well as in some private collections, it does not represent a single unit for a long period now. However, in the Serbian Archive, the Prince’s office fund, in the collection Turks with the Prince Miloš, we found several turkish letters addressed to the princess that include, among friendly greetings, requests to the Princess for certain personal services as well as the applications to influence her husband on certain issues. The local Turks, in addition to Miloš in person, also addressed to his wife who, although not always in harmony with her husband, undoubtedly had some impact on him. Here we enclose two such letters.
