Nerkez Smailagić’s concept of politics

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with Smailagić’s concept of politics as expressed in the monnumental work Historija političkih doktrina (History of Political Doctrines), published in two volumes by the Naprijed publishing house in Zagreb in 1970. In this paper the author provides a general overview of Nerkez’s contribution to the development of social and political thought in these parts. In particular, he dwells on and analyzes the above work, which still has undoubted theoretical and scientific relevance, representing as it does a “theoretical model of general and universal importance.”
