Political Culture in the Czech Republic

Summary/Abstract: The author starts with the analysis of the traditions of the research of political culture in the Czech Republic and she characterises the main streams and authors. Then she presents the results of the research among the university students that was organised during the autumn 2002 and spring 2003 on four Czech universities. She compares the results with the results of public opinion polls of the representative sample of the Czech population. She concludes that although there are some differences comparing the students and Czech population as a whole, these differences are not very relevant.
