Summary/Abstract: Started out from the social memory elements, described in the first part of the article, the authors take into analysis three events frequently remembered as most important by the Romanian population. The main research presumption was that the number of accurate details, related to various social events, offered by the subject's investigation, is dependent on intrinsic event variables (intensity, importance, remembrance etc.) and on attitudinal variables (social-political attitudes), contextual variables (personal evocation context and social context pressure), auto-biographical variables (personal details and autobiographic events) and social-historical variables (precursory and associate social and historical events), too. Data analyses allowed the identification of some variables which have a significant importance in the evocation of accurate details related to social events.
