About administrative system of Rus'koe voevodstvo (Ruthenia Voivodeship) of Polish Kingdom and Recz Pospolita

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problem of Ruthenia Voivodeship administrative history in the 17th century as well as to the place of ruthenian voevodes among the other voevodes of Polish kingdom of that period. There are still no works published on this subject. The author has examined "Akta grodzkie i ziemskie" and has showed that administrative division of Voevodeship was constant during the whole 17th century. The comparison of the careers of ruthenian voevodes with that of Kiev and Podole shows that the place of ruthenian voevodes was more significant than one can deduce from the official list of Voevodeships in the Constitution of 1569.
