Summary/Abstract: In his Letter to the Romans, Saint Paul is announcing that the messianic event linked to the resurrection of Jesus satisfies the exigencies of the accomplishment of the (mosaic) law by virtue of its promised deactivation. Following in Paul’s footsteps, Agamben tries to respond to two fundamental questions: what does it remain of the factual and juridical human condition after the messianic accomplishment of the law? And what happens with the law in the wake of its messianic accomplishment?
