Summary/Abstract: If we define sexual pedagogy as a pedagogic discipline investigating and scientifically determining sexual socialization and (international) educational effects on human sexuality, its intercultural orientation is apparent. The baseline of culturological aspects of human sexuality is the equality of sexual orientations and life patterns (which do not belong to the dominant culture) toward the stimulation of developing one’s own sexual identity, where the starting point is sexuality, and not sexual orientation. In this context we can define the sexual education as an intentional process of continuous impact on the formation of viewpoints and opinions about the aspect of sexuality in children, young people (and adults) and the development of sexual motivation, expressive forms and patterns of behavior. Immediate implications of new approaches in sexual pedagogy are manifested at the level of implementation as well: national curriculum and implementation in school practice – health education, reinforcement of personality and self-confidence of students, tolerance and openness to other values and other conducts where the particularities of cultural and social environment constitute a component of sexual education. Intercultural determinants of sexual pedagogy presuppose the understanding/ acceptance of characteristic behaviors of individual social groups within the plural society that stand out for their apartness in relation to the dominant culture, ethnicity, race, religion, bodily and/or mental ability and sexual or gender orientation.
