Summary/Abstract: Our paper aims to explore new trends that are manifested in political science, based on the phenomenon of European integration. In addition, we try to show how to combine the forms of "old governance" and the “new governance" in the political steering of the European Union and their implications. We also propose to identify and analyze, based on previous research, the new modes of European governance and their implications for achieving a higher degree of economic integration.
