STŘÍDNICE ZA JERY VE STŘEDNÍ SLOVENŠTINĚ
VOCALS REPLACING YERS IN CENTRAL SLOVAK

Summary/Abstract: Author of the article tries to approach a complex issue of epenthetic sounds and vocalic replacements for Proto-Slavic yers using reconstruction of their historical development. He postulates co-existence of three groups of vocalic substitutions for yers: a) original substitutions, b) sustitutions influenced by vocalic harmony, and c) substitutions originating through adjustment of yers to epenthetic sounds.
