Summary/Abstract: Formal education is very important for the students. But nowadays, this is not enough. They need to access different extracurricular programs in order to develop specific skills that will be strong advantages in the recruitment process, and will help them develop their personal brand. Dan Schawbel: ”The sooner you develop your brand, the more prepared you’ll be for your successful future”. Students also need to be aware from early on, about how to develop their personal brand. Having so many options to choose from, they need to know how each of them could influence their development. Work and Travel is an extracurricular program that contributes to the development of many skills that are important for building any strong personal brand of an economical student. The research will show which aspects from the Work and Travel program will help students develop later their personal brand. It will not create their brand, but it will influence them to think and develop skills that will use to create one later. The results of this research will be useful for students to know if this extracurricular program would be helpful for them in order to develop themselves and to add advantages to their personal brand
