Summary/Abstract: The material gathered in this study provides a rich and diverse context for understanding multiple forms of shared leadership processes, effective leadership processes in teams, factors that account for and predict individual performance, and the distribution of performance within teams. Thus, our aim in this paper is to examine individual differences that promote informal leader emergence, leadership and its associated influence processes, performance at the firm level of analysis, and the normal distribution of individual performance.
