Summary/Abstract: The performance analysis of economic entities involves detecting failure symptoms, establishing the facts and therapy in order to recover the carried out activity. But the diagnosis of performance is achieved not only if the entity is found in difficulty but also when one wishes to improve it. Economic analysis plays a fundamental role in evaluating, adjusting, and improving the economic and financial performances of entities. The choice of performance indicators and calculation methods, as well as their significance is a major problem for the economic entity and its partners.
