Summary/Abstract: Sprache und Kommunikation vor Gericht anhand der Hexenverhörprotokolle aus Nordmähren (Tschechien) wurden bisher von Linguisten nicht analysiert. Der Beitrag konzentriert sich auf die Untersuchung der ausgewählten Hexenprozessakten, die in den Jahren 1678-1680 als Verhörprotokolle vor Gericht in Groß Ullersdorf (Velké Losiny) niedergeschrieben wurden. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Analyse der Dialogstruktur und der Redewiedergabe in dieser Textsorte. Daneben werden zwei Briefe, die eine inhaftierte Frau heimlich aus dem Gefängnis schrieb, untersucht. The language and communication in court taken from witch interrogation court records in Northern Moravia (Czech Republic) have not been studied by linguists to date. The paper focuses on the study of selected witch trial court records, filed between 1678 and1680 as interrogation protocols in court in Gross Ullersdorf (Velké Losiny). The aim is to present the dialogue structure and speech reproduction in this type of text. In addition, two secret letters from prison, written by a detained woman, are analysed herein.
