Summary/Abstract: Individualization of sentence is one of the most important and sensitive juridical operations whose accuracy depends directly on the success of the correction and rehabilitation of the convicted as by assessing the gravity of the offense and the offender's dangerousness, it involves determining the criminal responsibility of the defendant, the penalty and the way of execution related to the defendant. Thus, the efficiency of justice in criminal cases depends on how courts perform individualization of criminal sentences, by taking into account the degree of social danger of each offense, the personality of the offender, the mitigating and aggravating circumstances, legal and judicial.
