Summary/Abstract: In the context of the category of "sociological system" the article puts forward the problem concerning the process of the transformation of mankind into an integrated organic system in which the interactions and the interrelations acquire a worldwide scale. The four main stages of this process have been outlined: first stage — from the end of the 19th century until the end of World War I, second stage — the period between the two World Wars, third stage — from the end of World War II until the mid-80s of the 20th century, fourth stage — from the second half of the 80s until now (this stage is still going on). The author characterized the internal changes of the basic spheres of the sociological system which lead more and more to internationalizing and unifying of the way of carrying out the social activities and of the way of life of the people in various regions of the planet. The article indicates that the full formation of mankind as a sociological system cannot end within the framework of the capitalist formation, a post-capitalist society is needed.
