Summary/Abstract: A controversial plan that would partition Macedonia along ethnic lines has been attacked widely by both local and Western politicians and media. But it's an open secret that the high Albanian birth rate means the country is headed for partition someday anyway. Does this mean that someday the Macedonians will be forced to sacrifice even more land than is being proposed now? No doubt, it's an issue fraught with emotion and sever consequences.
