THE GENERATION OF MODERN ARMAGEDDON. PREMISES OF THE BIRTH OF EUROPEAN FASCISM

Summary/Abstract: The onset of the 20th century with its revolutionary strides made in science and technology but not society and politics inspired huge hopes of which many become true, ushering tremendous changes in all spheres of life. Nevertheless, the deadly combination of the two lead the world (that was still unaware of this) to the tragic tribulations of the New Century: the Great War and, in its aftermath, the radical ideologies of communism and fascism. This article is but a huge “frog-leap” into a world humans had not even dreamed of a century ago, and an attempt to portray the European youth of that period of mass communications, mass-transportation, mass education and soon, nonetheless, and once more for the first time, mass politics.
