Summary/Abstract: This article presents how the discourse analysis can be used in the ethnic studies. The theoretical base of this study is developed with two varieties of Critical Discourse Analysis: the Vienna School (R. Wodak) and cognitive-oriented approach (T. van Dijk). The study is concerned with the press discourse of Polish-Jewish relations in the interwar Bialystok.
