Summary/Abstract: Toponymic structures with numerals are less frequent than those with nouns and adjectives, but they are still highly important for the knowledge of the popular denomination system. This is why the hereby article analyses the segment of place names, from the point of view of involved numerals, both structurally and stylistically, and in terms of the involvement of human imagination in the denomination process.
