Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to show two very different kinds of motivating for innovativeness systems: typical for USA and Japan, leading to similar effects – top positions in all the international innovativeness ranks. It proves the possibilities to create very different models, but they need to be flexible and individually fit for particular situations.
