Summary/Abstract: In this essay I continue my journey through the philosophical intuitions and meanings in Yovkov's works. Here I try to approach an event that is unveiled in Yovkov's short story Mermaid Night (Русалска нощ). It refers to a very simple yet most profound and most wonderful event – the human victory over tragedy, suffering and the emptiness of the world. I believe this is unveiled in Yovkov's story as being the core of all sacred miracles and secrets present in human life.
