“Woman Has No Field Boundary”

Summary/Abstract: This issue is done on the basis of field еthnographic researches in Northeastern Bulgaria, as the population of the villages of Grebenzi, located along the Danube in Silistra region used to be researched. This population is distinguished for its varied ethnographic specificity, kept till the middle of XX century. The author’s materials treat the marriage relationships during the 30 and 40 of XX century. The problems, to be researched in this article examine the choice of marriage partner, the marriage relationships terminology and origin, ritual visits. On the basis of comparative analysis the dynamics of the marriage relationships is shown through the women.
