Summary/Abstract: Animated comedy as a form of pop-culture has been reserved exclusively for children for a long time, and, as such, adjusted to their level, both in content and TV airing. We should stress that every animated program is not necessarily comical, that is, understood as a form of comedy. That is why any children's program could not have been considered as adult. Finally, there is an entire culture of "adult cartoons", which deals with sexual topics, as in porn movies or underground art. This paper aims to show how the language of modern animated American TV comedy has undergone changes in relation to the language of the respective genre in its very beginnings.
