The role, the actor's actual score between thought and action

Summary/Abstract: This article is the transcript of a scientific communication held by Gelu Colceag to ICR Paris in November 2011, a very important document for theater pedagogy in general and, in particular, for the actor's art methodology. The Professor explains how, through his part, the actor is calling for the character to appear, he`s scans his brain, he discoveres his unique way of thinking – the process, he controls his states and actions. The actor will be forced to act according to the scenario found, will take his character`s thinking and, ultimately, the character will appear. Also, it`s essential for the actor to discover and go through the three phases of the onstage cerebral process: taking over, processing (awareness and choice) and action.
