Zintegrowany model bancassurance na polskim rynku finansowym
Integrated model of bancassurance on the Polish financial market

Summary/Abstract: As a result of increasing saturation of financial services market and thus an inten¬sification of competition there was the bancassurance phenomenon involving the mergers of banks and insurance companies. This article presents issues related to the analysis of that phenomenon which are compounds known as banking and bancassurance insurance with par¬ticular emphasis on the integrated model which features some of the countries of southern Europe. These observations which are based on the behaviour and attitudes of Poles on the banks’ and insurance market help us to admit a great development of bancassurance in Poland towards integrated model in which banks distribute a significant proportion of insurance, es¬pecially life insurance.
