Factors which determine the financial standing of public companies from health care industry

Summary/Abstract: The author presents the assumption of financial standing of health care companies quoted on Warsaw Stock Exchange. The results of the analysis show that the improvement of operating profitability is possible. The proof for this thesis are analyzed companies which, in the years 2005-2008, improved their profitability significantly. It was seen especially in the case of EMC. Thanks to the noticeable rise in sales and due to using the positive financial leverage effect this company distinctly increased its efficiency.
