Summary/Abstract: Disorders of consciousness belong to the most severe impairments, especially in patients with neurological deficits. Scientists look for novel solution making the breakthrough in contemporary approaches to aforementioned patients. Article aims at assessment of medical, social, economical and ethical result of introduction brain-computer interfaces to the diagnosis and therapy in patients with disorders of consciousness.
