Summary/Abstract: Despite its title, this work pertains neither to school sociology nor to the didactics of various subjects. It rather deals with the analysis of the social context of teaching situations. It envisages a compared analysis of teaching practices of the two countries and attempts to produce the educational tools needed to address the social context of students' instruction.
