Summary/Abstract: The victimology perspective assumed for the purpose hereof (R. Elias, T.D. Miethe, R.F. Meier) shows that the relationship between the victim and the lawbreaker is dynamic and that the modern culture discovers as much as indicates an alternation of their roles. The second is a sophisticated analysis from Lekcja martwego języka where violence is an instance of practising an ecstatic philosophy. These two texts, when juxtaposed, show a dual nature of victimisation as attested by Kuśniewicz: banal and perverse facets of a misdemeanour consisting it making a victim out of someone. In light of both novels in question, victimisation is a pragmatic action undertaken in defence of a discourse (as in Korupcja) or in order to realise it (Lekcja ...).
