Specifics of Civil war in the Uralo-Povolzhsky region and the military intelligentsia of Russia

Summary/Abstract: The wide and colourful picture of Civil war in the Uralo-Povolzhsky region is presented in the article. The publication is distinguished by a publi-cist manner of writing, use of a wide range of sources and literature, includ-ing art texts. The author describes and analyzes destinies of Russian officers — participants of Civil war. Positive and negative consequences of Civil war for the country and the Soviet regime are studied.
