Summary/Abstract: Puńsk dialect which is spoken in the northeast borderland of Poland has been strongly influenced by Polish at all language levels. The present article examines the influence of Polish and colloquial Lithuanian (influenced by Russian) at the morpho-syntactic level (i.e. changes of gender and number in nouns of foreign origin, morphological peculiarities, syntactic constructions kad with an infinitive in the purpose function or coordinate clauses of the {jeigu..., tai // kas liečia} type.
