Summary/Abstract: The author discusses the specificity of teaching students language competence in conditions of natural bilingualism. During Polish language classes the phenomenon of interference of the English language, into the various levels (phonetic, syntactic and lexical) of the Polish language, occurs with the students. In such cases, the author suggests looking at Polish education in Polish community schools from the perspective of glottodidactics, by exposing students to language exercises dealing with reading and working with texts, speaking, and writing, together with other grammatical, orthographical, and syntactic exercises in the discussed field.
