Town twinning in Lower Silesia from the local government’s and society’s point of view – selected aspects

Summary/Abstract: The most important feature of Polish town twinning is the domination of partnership at the lowest level. Creating this kind of partnership is most effective when initiated by local societies. This article presents selected effects of town twinning cooperation in Lower Silesia. As the conclusion, the recommendations for local and regional governments have been formulated.
