The feeling of hate in the "Morometii"

Summary/Abstract: The author of this article brings into attention the feeling of hatred and the occasional violence present within the pages of one of the best novels of Romanian communist period, Marin Preda's Morometii. The character's behavior, their thoughts and deeds as well as the world that surround them seem to be guided by a constant and latent hate found by Marius Dobrin as being inappropriate for the times described by the novelist.
