The good of the family and the constitutional tasks of the state

Summary/Abstract: The article contains theoretical considerations of the good of the family and their reflection in the tasks of the state. The constitution of the Republic of Poland recognizes the family, marriage and parenthood as spontaneous values and assures them the protection not only in the frames of the community (family), but also in the individual dimension. The state has therefore to support the family in its workings in executing its social functions, but in a discreet way without the excessive interference in the sphere of the family life.
