Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of civil society as a part of political system presents distinguished interest in the study of modern democracy. Current increased concern about analysis of civil society is based on these pillars: social and political development, increasing requirement to strengthen public awareness, enforcement of civil participation and demand to balance relationship between citizen and government. According to the complexity of civil society meaning, the ambition of paper is to focus the attention to the one of civil participation forms, specifically the impact of grassroots movement Tea Party to the different levels of local and national decision-making processes in the United States of America. The hypothesis is based on; the United States of America creates incomparable preconditions to establish various civil movements as a conservative movement the Tea Party. The article examines, with the help of analysis and synthesis methods, the organizational base of the Tea Party as a unique grassroots movement with potential to enforce civil activism and to influence established political party.
