Summary/Abstract: It is very important to find one’s own style, says the author referring to artists in general and to journalists in particular. One’s own style is the expression of one’s way to see and understand the world, and to voice this understanding. Ernest Hemingway had a very special style that many have tried to imitate ever since. It was called “hardboiled” and was inspired by the “cablese” style of the old journalists. How Hemingway found his own style of writing is the question that the author tries to answer in this text.
