He was president of the Mashihat of the Islamic Community for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia, and taught at the Islamic Theological Faculty in Sarajevo. Editor of many periodicals and newspapers, he translated many articles, treatises and works in the field of Arabic language and literature, tafsir and the tafsir sciences, and Islamic and Arabic studies in general. He was both acclaimed and condemned, and the last accusation made against him was the one that hit him hardest, made as it was by the Supreme Islamic Council, which meant by the Islamic community as the transmission of the social community.
