Summary/Abstract: Mr. Demirel, I had the pleasure of hearing a speech by you several years ago in Jerusalem, and I am very happy to see you again, that you are in good health, and you still keep your good humor, which is not an abundant quality among politicians, nor among academics as well. We take ourselves far too seriously. Also I would like to salute Seyfi Taşhan for the wonderful job he has done, being a director of a center, I can understand the difficulties and the great effort being put in such an enterprise which has been very helpful to Turkey for many years.
