Evaluation of Economic Efficiency of SC Linas

Summary/Abstract: In a rapidly developing economy of the country the increase of technical and financial capacity of enterprises, and competition in the business market, the evaluation of the efficiency of a company’s activities have gained importance. The article analyzes the economic efficiency of the activities of SC Linas, the largest linen textile producer and exporter in Lithuania and the Baltic States for 2000–2005 and perspective tendencies of the company’s development. Economic efficiency of the company’s activities gives much useful information on developing its activities. Proper analysis of economic efficiency influencing indexes and factors makes it possible to make tactical and strategic plans and properly direct the company’s potential reaching targeted aims.
